ADVENT  WREATH  “GATHERING”

All parishioners are invited to join us in making an Advent Wreath for your home. Adults will be provided with wreath materials. The children will be able to make a variety of Christmas crafts. Help us plan to have the necessary supplies by signing up on the bulletin board or at the entrances of the Church by Sunday, November 16th. Sign-Up sheets are in Church and on the bulletin board in the elevator lobby.  Please sign-up, we need to have a count of how many will be attending. If you have joined us in the past, please bring: your old form (if you don’t have it, a new form will be provided), garden pruning shears to cut the pine, plus heavy gloves.

THANKSGIVING FOOD BAGS

“Thank You” to everyone involved in preparing “170” Thanksgiving Food Bags for those in need.

We were able to get this task accomplished with the help of our volunteers, 24 adults and 12 Boy Scouts. Also, we received 684 pounds of Thanksgiving food donations from the students of St. Nicholas-St. Mary School and 2,159 pounds of food from parishioners. Plus, we received $1,900.00 in monetary donations. Thank you for your generosity and support in this Social Concerns Project.

May you have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!!
