ADVENT  WREATH  “GATHERING”

Sunday, November 23rd, from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM, in the Community Room.

All parishioners are invited to join us in making an Advent Wreath for your home. Adults will be provided with wreath materials. The children will be able to make a variety of Christmas crafts. Help us plan to have the necessary supplies by signing up on the bulletin board or at the entrances of the Church by Sunday, November 16th. Sign-Up sheets are in Church and on the bulletin board in the elevator lobby.  Please sign-up, we need to have a count of how many will be attending. If you have joined us in the past, please bring: your old form (if you don’t have it, a new form will be provided), garden pruning shears to cut the pine, plus heavy gloves.

THANKSGIVING FOOD BAGS

The Food Pantry will be closed during the month of November. Currently, we are accepting food donations for Thanksgiving Food Bags. To date, we have 150 families signed up to receive a food bag for Thanksgiving. Food items needed: instant mashed potatoes, canned gravy, canned condensed milk, canned cranberry sauce, canned sweet potatoes, canned green beans, canned corn, canned pumpkin, boxed stuffing, boxed jello, 9 or 10 inch diameter pie crust, and boxed pudding. Please drop off Thanksgiving Food donations by Sunday, November 9th. Due to government cut backs of food stamps and SNAP, we really need your help with food donations, please help us in providing food to the needy.
